I realize I forgot to say earlier, if I ever say anything that you’re intrigued by but it’s not clicking for you or anything like that, I’m very amenable to questions and am more than happy to try another way of explaining or that sort of thing. I want to be as clear as possible, I just know it doesn’t always work.

other than the inability to use a flipgrip for tate mode fun, are there any other weaknesses of the switch lite?

- No OLED screen
- Joycon drift will be more of a headache than with a regular switch
- It’s less comfortable than a regular switch with a split pad pro
- Some games / game modes are docked only

FWIW I have one and my experience thus far has been fine. I bought a Pro controller to pair with it and I was going to use a gooseneck phone holder to occasionally hold the Switch Light in place, but ultimately I haven’t even bothered doing that because the system seems comfortable enough, at least for me.

That being said I really wish the budget option had just been the regular system sans dock rather than what the Lite actually is

I tried a few a couple years ago and landed on Polycam as the best one. Not sure if that’s still true but I’ve used it a bit recently and it’s still a really solid app.

If you played ZTier Man-Cave Shooters in the PS360 era I wanna hear your opinions. I am talking Syndicate, Haze, Singularity, Quantum Theory, Timeshift et’ al.
I remember really liking Syndicate at the time and I think I own it on Origin? You remember Origin? If so Imma gonna play it again.
You could also say something Killzone 2-3 or Resistance 2-3 ~fartnoise~.

Only by franchise, the 2012 is a 4 player campaign shooter and a single player campaign shooter. Dubstep soundtrack which I believe is the reason you can’t buy it anymore. I think it got delisted pretty quick as well.

Timeshift was like, pretty decent. The single player campaign was like, Wish Dot Com Halflife 2. No vehicle sections though I don’t think.
I wish I’d ever played the multiplayer which solved the problem of how do you give all the players Time Powers by giving everyone access to time grenades that would make bubbles of frozen time, reverse time etc. Seems like it could be a good time! Alas.
I also regret not playing Killzone 3, I think playing that with the move controller and the bigass gun peripheral must have been a hoot.

TimeShift was the first first-person shooter I ever played lol. I was so bad at games I had to download a trainer that put the game in god mode so I could get through it. The time travel thing was the hook I needed, I suppose, and being able to freeze time certainly helped like a kind of training wheels. No opinions sorry because I had nothing to compare it to at the time.
I sometimes fantasise about playing Inversion and Fracture and other forgotten gimmick shooters from that time.

I remember playing Dark Sector which had the distinction of being more UE3-looking than any actual UE3 game. RE4 camera, weird glaive boomerang weapon with aftertouch and elemental puzzles. I can’t imagine it’s worth playing now the graphics no longer wow anymore.

Disagree, Dark Sector is still very cool as an RE4-like, a nearly empty genre. Or at least I thought it was 10 years ago, I’m just gonna go ahead and stand by that opinion.
All the Halo wannabes like Haze and Resistance are hot garbaggio.
Syndicate is Starbreeze aka Machinegames aka the Neufenstein people, so it rocks. Full marks.
Putting Quantum Theory on a list of “z-grade” shooters is basically an incitement to violence here on selectbutton, the world’s #1 Remedy fan forum.
