Looks like I am completely outvoted. This is the song that annoys me to be clear. I kind of like the Yoshi’s Story title track for very short bursts. Hearing this song for 20 minutes are do start to become a different person:

So uh… Galloping Ghost Arcade… how is the name and logo not just a nod to the KKK? I never see anyone talking about this. Am I missing something or is ‘racist video game shit’ just a pillar of arcade stuff

the Galloping Ghost was Harold “Red” Grange, a footballer. he starred in a film serial of the same name in the 30s
some aviators took the name for their squadron & made a patch for VB-86, Helldiver bombers off the USS Wasp:
(can’t find any information about the artist or design, or much about VB-86 at all)
Doc Mack saw it in a book of WW2 art his brother was checking out and thought it looks sick as hell

If I wanted to buy a refurbished PSP or PS Vita is there a trusted place to get that kind of stuff from or do I just roll the dice with Amazon/ebay?
not sure about refurbished, but the bigger chain pawn shops here have 2 year warranty on consoles, so if feasible i’d just try to go to one of them in person so you can pick the best condition second hand one.

I dunno if it’d be affected by tariffs (it would certainly be hit by higher post-COVID shipping), but the DS system I got from a Japanese seller on eBay was pristine. Might be worth seeing what’s on there, they’re pretty thorough in explaining the condition on them vs. dark potato Facebook photo with glare and “kid doesn’t play anymore cash only no haggling don’t turn on”

Does anybody else notice searching for really specific YouTube videos has gotten better in the past day or so?
Ever since google search got completely ruined, there were a lot of times where I had to scroll through 10-20 videos to find the exact match of what I searched, but now those things seem at the top again where they belong.
Did Nightreign invent the mechanic where it takes longer and longer to revive your teammates the more times they’ve died?
The closest I’m aware of is Apex’s bleed-out timer getting shorter, but that’s kinda the opposite.
Definitely seen this in previous games though examples escape me.
works this way in towerborne. i was thinking i had more examples but they are hard to think of! more games work like apex where you get a shorter amount of time to revive them after subsequent deaths (e.g. gunfire reborn, wildhearts, probably many more examples) or it spends some kind of resource (losing health bars in hunt showdown, losing reinforcement tickets in helldivers 2) effectively limiting the total number of revives you have access to.
