I’m in Tokyo this week and Kyoto next week. Someone guide me to an arcade where I can play Planet Harriers.

Planet Harriers doesn’t exist.

Ikebukuro Mikado has After Burner Climax though.

Oh damn, I didn’t know Mikado had a second location (went to the original today just to play F Zero AX), thanks for that.

i got a fancy new android phone (it’s a pixel 3). what are some good games that aren’t gacha or w/e. alt suggestion: retro games that would play well on android with touchscreen controls (jrpgs? do you think i could play ps1 games well on this thing). also what are some good apps in general. does anyone have any photo/video editing app suggestions. or silly AR ones. do pokemon in pokemon go pose for pictures, i could see having some fun taking bulbasaur selfies

Guys, I am not sure: should I play The Messenger? If i am not mistaken, only the first half is good? How good are we talking about? Would i miss something by not playing it?

I’m the big The Messenger fan and it is great the first half, backtracking for the searchaction half and good at the end.

The beginning writing is annoying.

I like it more than Celeste.

How will I realize when the first half has finished? (and how many hours of play time shoud I expect?)

Thanks!

You will know like 12-15 to finish. The free DLC was like another 3.

Currently on my phone (a Pixel XL): Card Crawl, Card Thief, Enyo, FlipFlop Solitaire, Golf Peaks, Mini Metro, Reigns: Her Majesty, Supertype, Tomb of the Mask and others. Maybe you’ll like one of those? I feel like they’re all well suited for touchscreen (I generally dislike games that require a lot of action/dexterity on phones).

anyone have much experience with beetle psx on retroarch? having performance problems in hardware with conservative settings and software rendering on a 6600k/1060, other cores are fine and my old macbook air runs the same stuff beautifully in stock mednafen

(thinking i might just switch to mednafen for psx, but it doesn’t seem to like pbp files)

edit: how embarrassing, I’m on a fresh windows install and it was the default power settings causing this

It’s passable. You definitely wouldn’t miss anything by not playing it.

And another question… Has anyone played the Hayarigami horror visual novels? They were made originally for Playstation (with sequels on Ps2, ds, psp), and seem very interesting. I have bought the episode that they redistributed on Android (still have to play it) but I would like to know more about this series.

apparently the android localization is terrible.

last time i asked for a phone recommendation i started a thread that lasted several hundred posts and im p sure the phone i bought was the one recommended in the first post. so this time im just gonna ask here. id love a great camera but also i dont have heaps of money. my other requirements are: can hold an sd card. thats all. please and thank you

I did my research. The last place to have it was for a few weeks at Natsuge (RIP) and before that there was zero evidence it existed anywhere for years (maybe Shin Matsudo where I played it for the only time like 8 years ago).

used canon sl2 body + 40mm stm

This sure doesn’t look like it fits in my pocket and also is a telephone

hey my b

The Pixel 2/3/3a are probably your best bet. Night Sight is a great feature even if it’s photographically weird.
