just found something new for my translation patch wishlist: a ps1 rpg named khamrai
I have this logged in my spreadsheet as a descendant of the PC Engine.
These are familiar from the PC version as well
i would like to know more
I uh…kept a spreadsheet where I kept a count of studios that worked on games for the PC Engine. Then I looked up what people involved in those games made when the console had died out. Khamrai was published by Namco and developed by TamTam, both supporters of the Engine. If you dig into the credits of Khamrai, you’ll see that there were about 14 people involved in Khamrai who had also worked on PC Engine games.
now im wondering how those images were rendered
What is this?
Idk, sorry. But here’s my source

Programs used: Pov-Ray, Moray, Paint Shop Pro
Computer: 486-66
Rendering time: 7 hoursDescription: Most of the image was created manually with Pov-Ray, using primitive objects. Moray was used for image mapping the world and the text. The text was adjusted with Paint Shop. The world was found on Compuserve, flat as in medieval times. The uudecode was from Usenet, probably Cindy. I had scaling problems so the earth is too big, which deformed the monitor enclosure and broke the screen. I did not have time to fix it, but at least the earth is ok.
