Pokemon Essentials (basically a full set of RPG Maker mods to make your own Pokemon game) sure has advanced far since I first messed with it. I remember it used to run so awfully slow that it was unplayable or certainly unenjoyable.
The tech now is at a level where it can mimic Pokemon Black/White, minus puppet-style animation. I’m impressed at the dedication the community has put into it.
For Uranium in particular, I like how natural all the NPC dialogue sounds. They did a good job capturing a mood with all of it.
