Because the Pinterest I keep for reference art is at probably ~900 unique images? And I feel like sharing them because not everyone is willing to take the plunge into making Pinterest work (and I can’t blame them, the site does a terrible job of being usable imo)

It’s organized with my tabletop setting in mind but I think the board names are still decently clear.

Will post here more if people seem interested. I have a lot of shit, mostly weird beasties and cute girls with guns and people with 3 mechanical arms.

I hate Pinterest so much.

I had hundreds of saved pins and they decided to suspend my account with no warning or notification because of some image that was already on their system! Then of course customer support has been utterly silent to any requests of recovering.

That’s really shitty but also it sounds like what I’d expect from pinterest. They’re pretty awful.

I have voiced this before, but

I’m most bothered when search engines return Pinterest sites as high-relevant results

sites which I cannot view

Yes, the “forced conversion” is awful as well.

Also, Pinterest might be a worse data-sink than Facebook.
Users can put stuff in but Pinterest makes it extremely difficult to take anything out

Yeah it’s a gross cesspool

Though if you’re using the site, most images link to their source

The problem is that pinterest comes up in search engine results instead of an artists artstation or something

I don’t think they block individual save image as… but they make it really difficult to backup and download your albums. Their APIs or whatever only give you link to their pages, not the image nor the original source.
