Cratermaze/Doraemon Meikyuu Daisakusen
It’s an update on Heiankyo Alien, so that means digging holes and burying foes. It was first made with Doraemon characters and then originals when brought over to the States. I talk a lot about how games on the PCE are too hard, but this is one that’s probably too easy for its own good. On the standard difficulty, it’s not even possible for me to fall in my own holes and I have a full 8 minutes to complete the stage. The next setting is a little bit tougher, but it’s still not very challenging. Anyways, the soundtrack is fantastic, with some differences between the two regions. That’s because the Doraemon soundtrack was composed by Jun Chikuma, well known for her work on the Bomberman series and Legendary Axe. Take a listen!
