Please post photos of beautiful, well-used objects in here. I’ll start.
Resisting the urge to post a selfie
This is the largest chunk of mold I have ever personally grown, in some of the lemon juice from all the lemons left from the meetup
This is my childhood copy of Balloon Kid and I’m pretty sure it still works. I will always own this game
This is so disgusting. I’m logging off.
closest thing i’ve seen to a good looking cybertruck
during my 2018 trip to Japan I was walking along a main path through Aokigahara and spotted some debris maybe like 20 yards into the woods. some old (struck me as “vintage” but idk, regional variations etc.) coke cans and this coin purse
with the some of area’s reputation in mind…should I have taken it? I kinda feel like maybe I shouldn’t have taken it in retrospect. how old is it? is this a date?
only last year did I think to look up the cool character: Moonlight Mask (Gekko Kamen)
that’s 宣弘社 (Senkosha) the TV production arm of the larger Senkosha (千幸社?) company that put out Moonlight Mask and some other early toku stuff
(edit: yet another company is written 宣工社 seemingly and i do not want to look into what they use that spelling for if theyre somehow unrelated to the other Senkosha[s]. all things considered i should go back to reading books for five year olds in japanese. never trust what other english speakers have written on the internet probably)
what an adorable guy
I love it! Those blue fish are so cute.
I have plans to use my favorite bowl as a planter or something if it ever cracks. You ever heard of kintsugi?
I have! That’s what I think of whenever I use the bowl. I need to learn how to staple pottery I guess.
there is such a price gap between premade kits for epoxy resin kintsugi and urushi lacquer kintsugi. i have a cup i’d like to mend and put a succulent into (i don’t think it would be safe to drink hot liquids out of either way?) but neither market position for kintsugi kits is appealing
