u/iuriguiao’s lil baby rig featuring their SEMP portable tv (and the neat Divoom Ditoo toy), which I believe is a South American rebrand of the Toshiba CUTE 107E6B.

I’m glad it sold out from under me, because I found an eBay listing the other week for my childhood TV and god I was tempted.

Played through a good number of Playstation and N64 games on this little guy!

Another trash rescue. I like it with my lenovo mini tower. 13" diagonal with a pretty aggressive curve. It looked like it was attached to a cash register when i found it so i was supprised it was even in color. When found it had been rained in and was splashed with dirty sandy water. It has no out of range protection or osd, just knobs.

Twitter is having another discourse about CRTs and I just want to go to sleep

the article itself isn’t too indefensible but the idea that this is the example that opened your eyes to it has fucking destroyed me

that is a digitised illustration, it was not tuned for CRT pixels, the character sprites in the corner were, sure

The article is just funny in the context that Klepek is a “I don’t see framerate” person

nevar forget Rya ‘i don’t see graphics’ Reisender

I live on Twitter, it’s not “another discourse”, it’s just the toxins that are constant in the air we breathe

and the CRT oversaturates a lot of the colors, removing a lot of detail! Something I struggle with a lot in late-90s/early-00s emulation, when systems start getting higher color depth; how much do I want a more neutral color tone vs pushing it to extremes like a CRT would?
