they already are. I hope at some point demand rises to where they start manufacturing them again. I’d much rather buy a newly build CRT anyway because even if you find one in good shape there’s no telling how long until it burns out.

Yeah I meant harder to find than they already are. Maybe the coop should look into manufacturing new custom CRTs?

Yeah I was being facetious. It’s maybe technically possible but there are probably parts and stuff that aren’t even being made anymore that the technology requires.
Yeah that’s one of my “If I ever get stupid rich” fantasies, just start up a company to make new CRTs.
