What I find curious is that the description of the magic pistol (another treasure) mentions special magic bullets, with some eventually being developed that could summon monsters. This wasn’t in any Final Fantasy at the time of FFT…but was a key concept in the FF Unlimited anime that came out in 2001. Makes me wonder if Unlimited was scraped together using leftover ideas for other FF games.
