Get out of here stalker
morrowindâs main theme is better, but i couldnât pick between them. i canât hear parts of oblivionâs music without getting hit by, i donât know, guilt or something related. thatâs one of the reasons i donât want to replay it
this is probably related to some personal nostalgia and iâm guessing it would dissipate on contact with the horse mysteries and w/e else
Small Brain: Whatâs wrong with Big Bang Theory?
Medium Brain: TV is the best itâs ever been! Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones stand toe to toe with some of the best movies ever made!
Big Brain: Prestige TV is still just trashy escapism, only with higher production values. It canât compare to the work of great directors like Fellini or Tarkovsky.
Cosmic Brain: The real prestige TV is stuff like Atlanta, Louie, Eagle Heart, and Twin Peaks. It might not compare to the works of the greatest directors in history, but itâs a lot closer than most else!
Galaxy Brain: Modern TV is too produced, Twin Peaks was overrated, and the only truly good tv show that ever existed was Perfect Strangers
Universe Brain: Money poisons media, thus all of media is suspect except zero budget stuff like Fishing With John and Sapphire & Steel
going to have the fishing with john theme in my head for a few hours
donât delete this thread axe, i will get back to oblivion soon
âOblivionâ was recorded in front of a live, studio audience
Oblivion is backcompat on xbone now
this thread went places and it had some good posts in it, would be cool if some of the oblivion discourse got into kop
oblivion feels like an off-brand renfest
like the way they do signage and stuff for the towns it feels like a shitty theme park
hereâs whatâs good about oblivion:
ok but if someone made an oblivion mini golf mod Iâd play it probably
Posting Daggerfall Unity awareness itt because I donât know where else to put it, the old DaggerXL guy petered out years ago but this project is going absolute gorilla shit on progress since like February
But can I still Batman up onto roofs with Athleticism
In theory, yes. Theyâre trying to keep the game systems âtrue to classicâ, although I donât know off the top of my head what that means for weird CPU-dependent eccentricities like the Climbing skill, scaling walls/steep slopes, and jump height.
My problem with Oblivion, is that there is only like 4 ways the game can ever look. After the varied regions and individual handcrafting and placement of all objects in Morrowind: Oblivion really does look like something made by a primitive randomizer.
Half of why I love Morrowind, is exploring Mirrowind. SoâŚ
