Like, seriously.
I've spent 20 minutes just trying everything i can think of, and so far,
2D left-2-right boosting (smaller sword) [ ]x3 + /\ + R2 to cancel out of the stronger attack to loop the combo again has been the nicest Thing to figure out.
Roll was best for when you wanted to keep your position since it moved the least space so I found it more rewarding to stay engaged with my target. I only really used Trickster for Teleport. The dash I only really used on some bosses that had bigger more active attacks.
pretty sure you donāt have to care if you donāt want to. same goes for dmc. also āpianoā is kind of overselling it; just means jump and then hit attack on the way up. you donāt need Final Execution to do it
edit: if it wasnāt clear, neither of us were talking about nier 2 in that exchange about rolls
Yeah, itās not a strict input but can be a little easy to futz up due to the position of the x button and triangle.
I also hardly ever look up the āTechā for these kinds of games. I usually just get through regular hard and see how far I get on the next or next next hardest and then usually call it quits.
Iāll concede to the roll being useless for the adept but itās still a sound option for those not aware of where the iframes are.
