This chat update was in 2018. While it was definitely in response to Discord, it wasnât because of the age verification stuff. I think most people just didnât realize it had all these features until now.

popân music got started in 1998 and this, the 29th entry, is the first to be officially released in North America. The new cabinet has a 120hz display, a touchscreen for settings adjustments, a headphone jack, and two giant pop-kun buttons on the sides for toggling HIDDEN and SUDDEN (lane covers) during gameplay, as well as a new two-button mode using just those for the kids and other newbies. The regular nine buttons now have RGB lighting that can change color; for example, if you use the BEAT-POP setting (beatmania IIDX style note display) it will change them to be white on the bottom row and blue on the top row to match. And yes, the buttons are still as loud as gunshots when you smack them.
Iâm not sure exactly how many songs there are, but there should be well over 1500, and the difficulty is graded from 1 to 50.
Best of all, itâll be out before Marathon, and Round1 is open every day from 10AM to 2AM.

I guess itâs cool that MGS4 is no longer in Cell jail. Uh, I donât think I need to ever play this game again. Twice was enough! My most recent appraisal of this game was thinking âwell, the rest of the game sucks, but I guess act 1 is still pretty goodâ but even then, itâs got all that Meryl & Johnny diarrhea barrel stuff in it which is really boring and tedious. At least they keep Drebin and his stupid pet monkey entirely in cutscenes.
Anyway, the start of the game where itâs an incredibly long opening cutscene and you get like 10 seconds of gameplay where you crawl under a truck and then another long cutscene starts is still a really funny, absolutely classic Kojima moment.
I wonder if the iPods are still in the game? And the Assassins Creed outfit lol

My enduring MGS4 memory is beating the game and settling in to watch the final cutscenes as my sister went to go see a movie in theaters, and her coming back before they finished.

They did it for me. I could only ever play MGS4 by visiting my brother and playing his roommateâs PS3, and I remain disappointed that I couldnât finish properly bashing my head against the game.
Plus, Ghost Babel.
