yeah this is one of those cases where the original that has the mindshare isn’t exactly great in the first place but in a way that I trust will actually give them a perfectly strong basis for a sequel so there isn’t a pressing need to correct the consensus (see also Pillars, Baldurs Gate, Alan Wake, Dragons Dogma)

Alien Isolation 2 picks up where The Boost left off.
I think Isolation is great. Well, it’s really good. It’s too long but games have made worse mistakes than that.

Okay I saw all those cute little Ted figures on eBay and was baffled and now I feel like I want to watch these Japanese versions.
This is like learning about Koneko Monogatari after watching Milo & Otis for my entire childhood. What do you mean there’s a version without Dudley Moore doing a bunch of narration and silly dialogue.
