look, i think from some kind of “artistic” perspective i can respect someone attempting to be so detached from reality that they just want make a collection of “ideas” that have some prominence, like a documentarian or something, but at the same time i think it’s pretty shitty to be diminutive about it and say people are “scared” and “confused” by a “meow.” like if you’re doing something controversial or offensive, you need to respect the fact that people may and will be offended, imo, and might even say they don’t want to engage with it; that’s their prerogative.
but also, he’s right - i probably wasn’t going to play this game! lol
i will always have a special place in my heart for Isaac, as it was part of my first game curation and he graciously sent us a build for free, but what i’ve seen of this one isn’t really clicking with me
