The original Capcom Arcade Stadium was rotten with input lag, absent game settings and presentation apathy all round but at least the same hacks have the golden opportunity to befoul these greats all over again
So here is a single random game that needed to be shared, as I felt you all needed to know about the future of fighting games:
this game was on the Devolver stream and looked interesting. apparently the developer is also based in NYC tho i dunno them
from what i understand they’ve regularly updated it to a point where a lot of that is no longer a problem (presentation apathy notwithstanding)
SPONSERED POST (jk but post abt a friend)
IC/SB posting alum and my good friend dmauro has launched a KS for his first full game
features music by Peter Berkman of Anamanaguchi and sound effects by Jon Baken aka Cool3DWorld
Oh sick looks like a new echo night: beyond
Aardappel is the guy who made the Cube engine
I can’t claim to have tested anything beyond Final Fight recently but the differences between that release and the Beat 'em Up Collection felt like night & day
uh oh
every big media franchise that exists now is going to be milked for the rest of our lives…
what
They’re gonna do a redemption arc where a badass partner makes Duke Nukem grudgingly give some credit to feminism
that’s just the plot of the fourth riddick movie
If they don’t overdub all of Duke’s lines with John St. John it is a crime
I am a little surprised that no one tried to get The Quarry on Game Pass, it doesn’t feel like it has a huge audience at full price…
