as a mental exercise i am imagining being approached in a bar-space and having to draw from my vague knowledge of planescape to describe the context behind a single character or event from the game. i keep getting sent to jail

Arcade Archives has been killing it lately Neuman Atheltics, Final Star Force, Libble Labble and this week:
MERUHEN MAZE. Never thought Iâd see a home port of this outside of 68000.
And Viper Phase One is fixed and can be bought on PS5.

Iâm still thinking about how thereâs a whole company for making things that have Dan Houser writing and donât have the GTA / Red Dead gameplay that made people tolerate Dan Houser writing.

I feel like i really need to hear the justification for recommending this game in particular
But anyway, seconding the Macross game, and Legend of Valkyrie
The Taito Milestone collections are just compilations of Arcade Archive releases, and the second one has some pretty good ones like Gun Frontier, Metal Black, The Newzealand Story (and Dino Rex)
