nah there was no smash bros (1999) so i reckon they’re not gonna release melee. besides they’ve always had a weird little chip on their shoulder about how everyone likes melee more than all the other smash games. idgi but whatever the reason think it’ll prevent them from putting melee on the swiitch.

I think it’s such a Pandora’s box as well. It will be thanklessly compared to competitive Melee and casual fans probably couldn’t care less as long as Ultimate or the newest Smash exist. Negative sentiment is guaranteed from the target audience
