reminds me that Metal Slug is a counterinsurgency game with special forces theory and most of the 4X or RTS games were based on the theory of employ force on a massive basis, where its superiority in firepower and technology.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters just got an update that apparently let you change the font and BGM to the originals. They are also on sale on Steam.
- A âBGM sourceâ option has been added to the config screen. This allows you to select between the special âarrangementâ BGM made for this version of the game or the âoriginalâ versions in the style of the original game. In addition, both versions of the music can be listened to from the sound player.
- A âFont typeâ option has been added to the config screen. This allows you to select between the âmodernâ font made for this version of the game or the âclassicâ font in the style of the original game.
Wow, finally! Better late than never I guess. Hope this doesnât break all the random font/display mods Iâve installed on my copy of FFVI.
FFX/X-2 on PC still need you to go toggle off DPI scaling in properties seven years later so this is a minor miracle
FONTS?? SQUARE YOUâRE LETTING ME HAVE MY FONTS??? FUCKING FINALLY I DONâT HAVE TO FEEL INSANE SOMEONE ELSE CARES ABOUT THE FONTS
Joe Blackburn is leaving Bungie so I guess Destiny 2 must be even more fucked now
his position has seemed a fairly miserable one lately
itâs a good time for it to end. all part of the (ten year) plan
it turns out The Encyclopedia Of Clamps was dumped to archive last year, another perversely sprawling 90s multimedia cdrom in similar vein to Museum Of Anything Goes and Alice: An Interactive Museum but with more of an adbusters art brat sensibility⌠iâve been waiting for this one for a while since i first heard about it in the same âgame artâ exhibition catalog that listed a bunch of suzanne treister paintings and that duke nukem museum mod.
iâm not an emulation wizard or anything but could run this pretty well in compatability mode - the embedded videos didnât play for me but it wasnt as big a deal as you might think since its one of those bigger on the inside deals (click the top left screw on the clamp encyclopedia menu for a surprise). iâve only clicked through a little bit of the scenes on display but the interactivity is pretty fun and inventive, weirdly reminded me most of poking around the buried joke menus of the gameboy camera
guess it is not juat a few of us/someoneâs slowly starting to notice a trend, eh?
has some interesting links to projects/websites i have not seen/heard of before, so ymmv but nevertheless good to see there are new offsprings where ze market has decided to call it quits.
âGOOFINGERâ
dubstep begins playing
Godzilla has answered the call to attack and dethrone Dave the Diver
Silent Hill joining the endless low budget first person corridor horror indies
Silent Hill: The Short Message, free game coming out later today for PS5. Looks kind of goofy but weâll see. Seems theyâre trying to do another PT.
Silent Hill 2 Bloob 2 Furious
SH2 remake looking much less scary than the original, as youâd expect.
