well sure but i mean, you’d have to know definitively that this construction precludes the other phonetic approaches, or you could
put another H in there

also i mean
they should have just used ipa
to be serious, i think what bothers me is that even though i guess i understand what you mean by ‘ih’ in contrast to ee or ai, ‘ih’ is never used in the spelling of any word that actually exists. whereas ‘kate’ is perfectly legible because ‘kate’ is a familiar word (i dont see ‘kate’ and think kaw-tee)
arguing over the h drives engagement. if they didnt include it they’d get half as many clicks. the H of influence
They can go to H for all I care!!!
I saw a random new game description that made me think of SB
this is not the final fantasy H discussion I signed up for
RE:
Hol syhit, I never knew Space Harrier would be that much better if Harrier could FUCKIGN PUNCH
The description sounds great and then I click and it’s a 2d puzzle platformer
Yeah but it’s got physics so it’s cool
IMSIMS ARE FIRST PERSON. Always. Always!!
harder to sell Minimalist Scribblenauts
I get really triggered by the name ‘immersive sim.’ what the fuck does that mean. what the fuck is it. at least survival horror is only meant to be a shlocky name, these immersive sim bums think they’re on to something. it’s just an RPG. it’s a kind of RPG. it’s an RPG where you go into the vents instead of talking to people.
its only an imsim if you can find someone’s room key code in the trash
only an imsim if the first combination lock encountered is opened with 451 with or without trailing 0s otherwise it’s just a sparkling fps-rpg
it’s only an imsim if you can look up someone’s aunt on the in game social media to discover their mother’s maiden name and use that to reset their password
i’m here for more imsims that attempt to virtualise a known small space exhaustively
