MUWT 2: The Quickening

Just watched Olivier Assayas’ Boarding Gate (2007) which is both very erotic and a thriller but not sure it qualifies exactly. It’s good though. I’m also thinking about Jane Campion’s In The Cut (2003) which counts imo, and is presumably one of few erotic thrillers directed by a woman.

do they have sex on the crabs too? does a crab pinch his taint? these are important factors in my want to watch this movie

theres a really good part in TNT where these psychopath brothers who are ride or die for eachother face death in a pit of scorpions, and one of them makes it through but the other is left behind and getting just pinched and owned and hes gonna get killed by the scorpions, but his brother loves him so much, his brother thinks back to the time that they decapitated a woman, sealed her body in the wall and then played soccer with her severed head. he gets all sentimental and goes back into the scorpion pit, and they splash the arachnids around like children in a kiddie pool til they die

is there anything like that

watching some documentary about a bunch of serbians who live in a small village with no women and they keep arguing ‘THERES WOMEN IN ALBANIA’ ‘BUT I DON’T WANT TO MARRY AN ALBIANIAN WOMAN’ and every shot has a glossy legs lady on some wall and if it doesn’t its because someone’s looking at a glossy titty lady, one of em even has a tiny titty lady on his shaving mirror

update they’re at the albanian wife festival

Once upon a time, I, Alex Murphy, dreamt I was a RoboCop, stomping hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a RoboCop. I was conscious only of my duties as a RoboCop, unaware that I was Alex. Soon I awoke, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a RoboCop, or whether I am now a RoboCop, dreaming I am a man. Between a man and a RoboCop there is necessarily a distinction. The transition is called the transformation of material things.

That kid really has a Baby Trump thing going on.

I’ve got Criterion Channel to work on my Xbox One so I don’t have to stream it to my chromecast from my phone. The experience is much better. I watched In A Lonely Place and Death Race 2000 the other day and watched Police Story today.

The original Death Race 2000 with one of the carradines and stallone playing a bad guy?

I love Death Race 2000, it’s the natural progression from Wacky Races.

i also watched Police Story the other day! it was my first time with the film, and while some of it is pretty cornball, a lot of those stunts really made my jaw drop.

i also decided to watch that Will Ferrell Eurovision movie because sometimes i hate myself and my main takeaway is that i’m surprised they still make movies like that. like they’re just playing it completely straight that they are Actually Icelandic and it’s sort of embarrassing to watch

That is correct. It has a level of sleaze I appreciated.

The start and end of Police Story ruled. The middle kind of sagged but that mall sequence rules. I also miss having bloopers in the background of the credits.
