I even low key liked the lady killers a long time ago, though I’m perfectly fine believing it sucks. I just always liked Tom Hanks being Satan, but it was definitely never one of their best movies.

I’ve known someone, a former co-worker, who believed that Raising Arizona and Hudsucker Proxy are bad Coen movies, and wasn’t entirely fond of Lebowski either.

For some reason I watched Play Misty For Me tonight. Eastwood dick drives ladies crazy! It’s still pretty good when Clint isn’t directing himself in overlong sex scenes? Your #1 destination if you want to see Jessica Walter stab him with a butcher knife anyway.

Watched The Money Pit (1986) starring Tom Hanks. It stinks.

I’d seen bits and pieces of it for ages, but watching The Mask of Zorro and it is wild how you can instantly carbon date it to 1998, or roundabout there. Just the look, the script, some of the jokes. You can close your eyes and see the little “Coming soon to VHS” frame appear in your mind.
Edit: also I’m pretty sure I counted no fewer than like four animal roars mixed into the gold mine explosion at the end.

as any good Godfather would, went to catch The Wild Robot with my nephew on the big screen.
Loads of good hearted humor, DreamWorks did a good job there.
People with kids will probably be broken a few times during the runtime, i guess!

thanks for sharing, never heard of that one but the trailer made me interested in the movie like few trailers in recent years. looks special. i was about to say it looked like an older film, and checked and it is technically 20 years old, but i thought it was even older for some reason, it has the look/feel of a late eighties thing, but with an older corey feldman.

Tubi always manages to retitle things to the worst name possible. MJW is great at comedy.
