Movies coming out that are not by disney

its like how in the 80s and 90s everyone had the same pick of guns from the production armory. It’s just race guns now because it’s 2025 and competition shooting has deeply influenced guns in movies. in a post picatinny rail world where guns are fashion we want people in movies to have cool ones

Not a huge fan of the prestige desaturated look. I want that 80’s color pop

The rest looks good though

smh I would never describe a film where his co stars are richard dawson, yaphet kotto, maria conchita alonso and jesse ventura as “minor”

Arnold’s characters backstory is basically the same as the doomguy it’s badass

the arnold movie you should watch though is david ayer’s sabotage dizzy I think you would like that one especially the multiple extensive alternate endings because the studio fucked with him several times. It’s a good denounment to his career as a Republican action man

I guarantee anyone reviewing Running Man as mid is in their 20’s and is constitutionally incapable of feeling Action Spirit

Yeah I may be Edgar Wright’s biggest hater but I think having an over the top game show host type guy in this feels weirdly dated when there’s a much more contemporary metaphor available

But on the other hand I feel like a few other lower profile original movies have already taken that angle so maybe it’s also played out. I just don’t really get what that Colman Domingo character is satirizing anymore in 2025. They did something like this with the robocop remake too and it felt dated even then

probably afraid of being sued or tortured by mr beasts military prison guard mother

I like the idea of someone calling Grendel “Mr. Beast” because then the mother angle works

or you can do yourself a favor and watch the wonderful 70ies german adaption ‘Das Millionenspiel’

that even if you don’t parse it as such nowadays, has been way ahead in terms of anticipating private TV show formats decades before they gained traction.

The awesome Soundtrack makes me go :servbotsalute: every time
