I really like this set. A bit pricey for what comes in the box but that’s Lego these days
Is there a unique feature of the sets? Is it an app? Please tell me it’s not an app.
It’s not an app! There is no Vidiyo or Hidden Side-style augmented reality integration. However, yes, there is something unique to the theme: each set has two alternate builds, but unlike 3-in-1 sets, the first 50%-80% of the build is the same — and importantly, when you get to that point, you will already have a model that you can play with. Then you have two choices on how to finish the build with the remaining pieces. For example, the Nightmare Shark Ship can be built as a flying ship with sails and jet engines, or a huge vehicle with wheels and giant blasters mounted on the deck. LEGO shared their research that 3-in-1 sets often get built only once because younger kids are demotivated by having to take apart the entire set. The DreamZzz sets let you switch up the build with only ~30% of the parts. **
Properly bonkers, imho
oh hell yeah. I also don’t like de constructing the entire set for a new build
deadsharkjetboat
I was pretty ‘whatever’ about this until I saw
Little mini arcade scene inside the cabinet? That owns
(I would still never pay $300 for this)
Yeah I have a pretty firm $50 upper limit on Lego sets, just can’t bring myself to shell out for the real big ones. This is pretty cool though.
I’d loot this from a store during a riot though (for legal purposes this is a joke)

Wip3out crafts is a great genre for LEGO
If there were an official Wipeout range I would be bankrupted.
