I saw this guy at target when I was trying to do some last minute Mother’s Day shopping and, he was only $9 so I took the leap. I didn’t realize this was an actual set and not a custom thing. I hope you get a commission from Mr Lego for convincing me.

have lego themselves started doing anything like these mighty max book things, or is it another china original concept? i mainly ask because there are (unlicensed) harry potter, disney, and marvel ones, and wondered if those ones are clones

If any Lego nostalgia is gonna get me to buy a fucking Lego set in the year 2022, it’s this. But not at $400. Goddamn.

Shit, it looks good though.

Uh, I guess that would too.

The price of Lego sets has really reached a point where I feel like I’m actually being priced out of it as a hobby/occasional consumeristic indulgence. All but the smallest sets are very expensive (and there seems to be huge jumps in price from small to medium sets).

It’s something I find very frustrating. I mean c’mon

The set that’s based on was the first Lego set I had that was a place and not just like a vehicle. that looks great. Bummer that it’s an exclusive for spending a stupid amount of money (aka, two or three Lego sets?).

I guess at least I still have most my sets from when I was a kid, including Forestmen’s Hideout.

Not that I’ll ever build them again?

I don’t know, man.
