What’s remarkable to me is that this theme has been going strong for 11 years, which is plenty of time for its original core fans to “age out” so clearly Lego have managed to come up with something that has pretty evergreen appeal. Overall it’s very much “not for me” but I take it as a good sign that non-licensed themes can still succeed.
In other news this set is a very fun, quick build. I really like the chunky proportions and bright colors. I wish there was a little less grey but
