He’s also been talking about those games on twitter for the first time. I feel like it’s because he wants to highlight how those games were more Shutaro/Curry the Kid’s games than they were his, seeing as how Shutaro’s current medical issues seem pretty severe.

That traditional painting thing it’s going for is amazing but gameplay wise having it be harvest moon/assassin’s creed/dynasty warriors has me suspicious that each of those facets is going to be a bit shallow.

Nothing on the website says it but the only thing I can figure The Only Thing is that the jacket was hand-dyed into that design, which would be absolutely absurd as a craftman’s project. Then to do that 2-5-10-100 times is mindblowing. But also they give no details why the stupid thing is the price it is.

I look at this and see something like Graveyard Keeper, but with a few more axis of action mechanics. I’m starting to believe you can get away with shallow mechanics if your theming is strong enough.
