No problem, I think I’ve talked about it in various places here but not in detail for a while. Basically I have stamina issues in my thumbs and fingers due to a forearm muscle injury (specifically lateral epicondylitis and subsequent atrophy in both arms). I’ve since recovered with physio but my stamina levels are still low such that playing games with a traditional controller isn’t really doable, the thumbs specifically are the worst (switching positions, sustained aim/grip). I can’t hold a regular controller and play normally for more than 10 minutes without soreness and fatigue. The same issue persists on mouse if I have to do rapid aiming/clicking or following targets but looking around at leisure is fine. I mostly use my index and middle fingers for most games but my left side is slightly better than my right, hence the aiming issue even on some alt-controllers. Usually the closer I can get the entire control scheme to a simplified keyboard the better. I would play every game with the Divekick controller if it were feasible.
Microsoft shut down its PC peripherals lines in 2023 but a company called Incase has contracted with MS to bring them back; they have product listings up now, but they’re not quite available just yet:
Anyway looking like this is probably good news for me 'cause the Sculpt keyboard pretty much saved my body and I was worried it would be really hard to replace if anything happened to it (was thinking about this because the two AAA Energizer alkaline batteries it came with (I think?) in 2022 finally died today ; ).

I for some reason thought this sparkly purple 5-pin Neo Geo Pocket (Color) link cable I’ve had in the cupboard for years was a Nyko thing, but I can’t find a photo that quite looks like it, and the only matches I’ve found for the “SL1638” code on both sides of both plugs of this one are a) an uncertain forum listing for a Madcow Sun Light NEOP Product codes required | Neo-Geo Forums (also lists a Madcow Link Cable but with a different code, “Madcow Link Cable LC-806,” and I couldn’t find anything about that), which may have got it from the listing b) here Vidgame.net: SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color NGPC for “3rd party worm light” (that one DOES kinda look like a Sun Light?) (Nyko made a “POWER WORM LIGHT” for NGPC but it has a very different plug housing and also an attached battery pack.)
IGN mentions Nyko’s POWERLINK (they call it “Power Link”) NGPC cable was “bright purple” Power Link - IGN , but the only NGPC purple link cable mentioning Power Link or anything like it that I can find is this one Power Link , and the plastic housing around the plugs is different, and the write-up below the blurry photos showing a purple cable calls it “blue.”

Has anyone tried out the 8bitdo Ultimate 2C? I like the feel of the Ultimate C but it seems to have some issues, mine is disconnecting and dropping inputs frequently and I noticed that @VastleCania’s was doing the same at the meetup. Did 8bitdo stop being good or are these just problems with the specific model?

Welp, the left shoulder button on my Xbox Elite 2 is completely busted. It’s like dangerous to press it because it often ends up permanently activated and it takes minutes of fiddling to unpress it.
