In more of my “I wish I had a Vewlix soooo bad” brainworms, I made a bigger cardboard Vewlix from an old monitor and modded a Nacon Daija I got for cheap at EVO with custom Vewlix-styled foil art, battop, and buttons.

I also got a cheap little table intended for couches and lowered it so it’s right at the height of a candy cab, so my pseudo-Vewlix experience is now complete
:sweatpig:

Here’s a better view of the table (before I got the Vewlix art and buttons for the stick):

I wonder how this would be with Snow Runner.

I tried playing snowrunner with a wheel at one point and it was, expectedly, exhausting. five point turn simulator. obviously a superlative experience (I really really love snowrunner) but impossible to recommend

Fair. I wonder if the Brodie knob helps with all the five point turning

i remember seeing beeshu stuff advertised in magazines a lot as a kid. all of these designs are familiar, but especially the striker with its clown nose.

gear masters were really expensive in the 00s, but i think the prices have normalised since then. though i don’t know why, none of the current chinese companies seem interested in making anything related to sega 8-bits. also, it seems there are a bunch of variants of it, including some official ones

I think it was Game Players who’d give these things a two page ad spread.

Scored a blue and grey zipper a couple years back and it was an exciting moment. Never remembered actually seeing these in person back when.

Dell UVDEL1 OEM mouse - mouse wheel button died, buttons stopped holding clicks after about 2 years of use (it’s far older than that–pulled it out of the cupboard after I realized I couldn’t use touchpads without agony)

Logitech B100 mouse - body rejected it immediately

Razer DeathAdder V3 mouse - big beefy clicks, nice soft cord, comfortable

baseless speculation but i think roadbumps with the analogue 3d have sent 8bitdo (same parent company) beyond cmo slash benevolent design autocrat christopher taber’s purview

ugly rgb thumbsticks, tact switch dpads, sullying their no-cut modkit line to skimp on a cheap easily sourced serial erm motor… products in decline

Dang, I hope not…but they have been doing a lot of RGB sticks lately…out of character for them…

Maybe this should go in quick questions? idk.

I’m trying to bind all the buttons on that new retrobit saturn pad with the control nubs but for some reasons the C and Z buttons are bound to the same buttons the L and R are respectively (see video with joy2key), is there a way to fix this?
