Hadn’t heard of these. Ooh pretty.
Yeah, you can get some non-seimitsu versions pretty cheap now, though now I’m debating about springing for one.
Hey keyboard freaks I need a new regular non-mechanical-fancy keyboard that my children will be eating over the top of, full size with the numpad and all. Is any $5 crap on Amazon fine or is there some ideal intersection of price+build quality I should know about
what’s your budget for something a cut above $5 OEM with an eye towards durability? i can’t honestly say a $50 one would be literally ten times better to someone who doesn’t care but it might be nice if you’re also using it
I’m not just using it, it is the one I am using literally constantly, so yeah I’d spend 50 bucks if it seemed worth it.
I recently found a logitech G213 fullsize in a goodwill bin - It’s a regular membrane / non-mechanical keyboard despite its appearance and it’s spillproof so I’d consider it snack-safe. You can find used examples of them in the $30 range.
logitech quality control is hit or miss when it comes to their mice but i haven’t had any problems with their keyboards.
logi k310
100 bucks from Walmart is pretty steep…
plenty of competitors, just none with such an immediately distressing product photo eg.
I have a couple of these in a drawer I don’t need, shipping is gonna be $20 minimum though
Yeah dude, whatever you think is fair
Ok, I’ll take them to the post office tomorrow and let you know what it winds up costing
I have one of those washable Logitechs too, mained it at work for a year or two, totally fine and nice looking. Comes with a little baby brush attached to the back. Kinda wish they had a wireless one.
as membrane beaters they are actually very decent, which is why I had 4 kicking around at one point. cubes is getting my last 2 because I need some space back in the closet after having to clear out my university office
now I wonder who will buy the Wifi 6e m2 cards I bought 3 of just in case
ax210s?
ofc
SGB Commander (Hori, SFC)
(Super Game Boy Commander - Hori's Ultimate SGB Controller - PugHoofGaming)
In Japan, Hori released a special Super Game Boy controller called the SGB Commander. The controller, aside from the 4 Game Boy buttons (A, B, Start and Select), also has 4 Super Game Boy specific buttons which can enable the user to mute the sound, reduce the speed of the game, change the colors and modify the display window. An additional switch is provided to alternate between Super Game Boy mode and regular Super Famicom Mode.

Is the slowdown one of those turbo-pause options?
Oh I guess it alters the clock speed?
It enters a button code supported by the SGB:
The Y button is labelled as Speed, and is a macro for the button combination L, R, R, L, L, R, toggling between three different speed settings that slow down the clock speed of the SGB. The first button push will activate the slowest clock speed available, the second press will increase the speed slightly, but will still be slower than normal, while a final button press will revert the Super Game Boy to its standard speed.

(^ They appear to be incorrect in that article about the SGB Commander being the only way to access the Faster speed setting, though; GameFAQs indicates that’s possible with any controller, because that button combination code cited above actually cycles through four different alternate speed settings, one of which is Faster: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/snes/588731-super-game-boy/cheats)
