Remember in Binary Domain where you had to talk to your teammates in katakana for the voice software to work?
Remote never turned off yet had the low actuation force membrane buttons of an IR remote so constant accidental PS3 turning on by your folks leaving it in the couch
My mom made me buy one of these in exchange for the privilege of hooking my PS3 up to the big TV lol
Exact same experience
The 360 had a good IR remote
That sounds annoying. Donât think I ever encountered it though.
Batteries lasted about 5 minutes in that thing.
Donât remember that either
I never had battery problems but there was no reason! that every button on that remote should have powered up the PS3, why couldnât they just slap a big power button on that thing?
All I know is that I had to replace the batteries several times. How often do you replace batteries in a TV remote? Seems like never.
I have a fun Samsung TV with a super shitty remote that has a well-known issue of âyour batteries are actually fine, you just gotta pop them out and rotate them a little to get them to work again.â
Also love how muting my TV causes a huge âspeaker mutedâ icon to appear constantly on the screen. Thanks, I know I did. The only real solution is to just set the volume to 0.
Iâm glad they mostly fixed the Switch CEC issues. Wasnât fun to have that thing constantly switch HDMI ports mid-PS4 match because it suddenly wanted attention.
My PS3 remote came with a free copy of Hancock and I lost that both them shits as soon as I bought them. Now my carelessness feels vindicated.
Also I can practice hydoukens on menu screens.
I splurged on this because I am dumb. I got it for $90 instead of $150, which may have played a role. I donât think that I could recommend a $150 barebones mouse to anyone, but yikes is it fucking nice. everything about it feels perfect for what it is. it isnât the best productivity/fuck around mouse because it doesnât have a free scroll wheel (or wheel tilt), which is the best thing a mouse can have for any purpose but gaming. but a free scroll wheel makes the wheel shitty to click, which I think sucks for gaming, and every free scroll wheel mouse either 1) has a shitty sensor, 2) is really heavy, or 3) both. the viper wireless is very light, feels extremely solid, has a perfect wireless sensor, has very long battery life, and has a great shape that will be perfect for a lot of people (itâs not quite perfect for me; I wish it had more of a hump on the back). itâs a razer product that isnât at all garish, which is a small miracle. the only marking is an RGB LED razer logo that is located under the shell, which makes it look kind of nice, and more importantly means it is nearly invisible when you disable it. the feet are good. thereâs a place on the mouse to store the wireless dongle if youâre taking it somewhere. it comes with a charging dock if you donât feel like plugging the mouse directly into your computer to charge it. I donât know, I could sell this for more than I paid for it, but I canât bring myself to do it.
Onboard memory is a huge improvement for Razer. Synapse is the worst tray app.
Iâm using the new Intellimouse and had the Deathadder⌠Elite? before that. The rubber side grips on the Deathadder feel very cheap. Sounds like fit and finish are improved as well.
I tried playing with a controller this weekend over Steam Link and realized that KB+M is counterintuitively more ergonomic because I can leave my hands closer to neutral vs a static Lego minifig curl.
yeah I like razerâs current mice, I just use my atheris over bluetooth so Iâve never used their software and it works great
That looks even smaller than a g305! Like the old Anywhere MX mouse.
The claw has chosen I guess
Iâm a Logitech B100 guy. $7 all in baby.
I did get a gaming mouse with 2 side buttons to make some functions in the last Deus Ex easier to use. It has a switch for the wheel to be infinite or clicky. I have never needed it outside of this application. Honestly the extra weight vs my cheap mice is not appreciated.
is there somewhere a list of all available mice with freewheel scrolling?
and does infinite scrolling like, automatically mean Logitech MX-style weighted flick and spin real fast, or just any wheel that doesnât have notches?
my last razer and logitech mice both lasted ~6 months, not great after getting 17 years out of an ie3
intellimouse pro seems alright like
