Backspace Bouken

There was a joke program that looked like notepad, but eventually the letters would fall down and form a big pile at the bottom of the window. I can’t find it though

I feel like one of the games in Infocom’s Enchanter trilogy must have had a spell that could do this, but it’s been so long since I’ve played them.

I haven’t played it, but I know Quadrilateral Cowboy is about ā€œprogrammingā€ the world. Like, it’s an adventure game where you have a magical console where you can type code to change the game world. It’s supposed to be pretty cool!

If we’re counting ā€œhackingā€ games there’s Hack ā€˜n’ Slash which is a Zelda style game that lets you do this to a limited extent, as well as Glitchspace, an FPS.

similarly there’s that else.Heart(Break) game right?
