As long as you know you are doing it, and prioritize it well, this is fine. Just don’t let them turn it into the expected norm and you should be good. Some people at my office expect everyone to work like 10 hour days and be on email at 11 at night and fuck that NOPE. I’ve stayed late when a project demanded it, but otherwise, even with as much as they pay me, it ain’t enough to justify that (hint: there probably isn’t enough to justify that).
