title proposal: Knizia? I hardly know ya!
You’re thinking an async game? I’d join in for that.
I might have gone for that fancy new Kickstarter version a few months ago if I didn’t already have a very old (but still nice) copy.
Yeah, I pretty much only do the async games, I can always guarantee I’ll play them and I don’t have to find the time like with other stuff ![]()
I’m going to wait a day and see if anyone else wants in because I really love this game with 3 or 4, but I won’t turn down a 2 player either if it gets me in the game!
I remember seeing that kickstarter and I thought about it, but I already have a copy of the last rerelease, which I don’t think looks nearly as good as the original, but it gets the game to the table so who can say if it’s bad or not
@vodselbt yeah dune rules. I hope you play it again with 5! It’s really quite something
Thank you! I am already pushing to play it again. I haven’t stopped thinking about it.
I have a friend whose parent worked for Petersen games, and surprisingly has everything ever released for Cthulhu Wars. So we’re likely going to crack into that. It sounds pretty fun as like a more complicated version of Risk.
dunno if we’re connected on BGA:

@Tulpa gonna throw @wourme under the bus for this one because he suggested it but I’m trying to get a fourth for a Tigris and Euphrates game on Boardgame Arena and want to drag you into it, if you have any interest in such a thing
put me in I love tigris and euphrates
4P Tigris is open, come join us!
A while back I was wondering whether I’d ever play Eldritch Horror again, since the Arkham Horror card game does some of the same things much better.
But some friends wanted me to teach it and I did last night, and I realized that I still like it and both games still have a place in my collection. Also, we won even though I didn’t stack the mythos deck and we got some hard-mode cards in the mix.
I still need to play a game with that Ancient One that permanently destroys cities and gives them a special type of destroyed city encounter. I bought that expansion years ago but have never got around to trying it.
