Also interestng, Nvidia Ancel is unavailable while that place is active.
That was where I stopped playing, hence I consider it to be the âtrueâ ending because I am vain and such.
important post-blow developments
iâm not sure i ever understood the order of operations here
it seems like either of two solutions should be valid, but only one of them is? and itâs the Y shape that complains when you do the wrong one.
is this one of the ones in the mountain where you also have to satisfy the puzzle previous?
whatâs your invalid solution?
am assuming your two look like:
no, itâs in the quarry where the Y is introduced.
the top one.
damn i canât remember the role for either of these, i assumed the Y was âline can only pass this guy anti-/clockwiseâ and stars were âthese all have to be on the same side of the lineâ but itâs been forever
thereâs no mistake for it to fix: the star is in a region with exactly one other similarly-coloured symbol
I think this is the only puzzle that enforces this?
oh, itâs a âmistake-fixerâ? i understood it simply to âdeleteâ another symbol, so as in this case to leave an empty region with no rules in effect. very interesting that this distinction only comes out in one puzzle.
that would explain the choice to leave in the âwrong answerâ sound before it takes effect.
That specific aspect of the mulligan, as itâs know by the community, comes out in more puzzles but it kinda depends how much you experiment with mechanics. Itâs been a while so I donât remember specifics but it might come up in alternate solutions, when you need to get some puzzles in specific states to manipulate other stuff. I have vague memories of having to trigger one intentionally as the only way to properly invalidate a puzzle that needed to be in a failure state.
