watching Nikki from the infinite sidelines makes so many decisions look weird, and the back-and-forth about Updates, Currencies, Pulls (and Pushes 
), tone-deaf writing or general handling of The Audience⢠sometimes feels like watching an 1980ies cartoon, you never know where theyâll go next, some issue appears which is defeated until the end of the episode (nee Update) and with the next Update, rinse and repeat.
Or at least yâall make it sound like this is whatâs happening

hey @notbov how does the focus distance thing work? i took the focus off nikki and started moving the slider around but i cant see anything different? what do i do with this option
so it has two modes, you can either manually adjust the focus distance with the slider or use the targeting reticle to dictate the auto-focus point
if you want to create really obvious or striking bokeh, youâll have to play with the zoom (effectively an optical zoom), focal length and aperture

keep thinking about how wrong all this is. sorry. you look fucking badass and thats what matters. OSBâs statement about games not having fun flair and animations and style is whats wrong. who cares if it takes one second longer you get to see you do a pose in your custom motorcycle outfit and then you RIDE ON A MOTORCYCLE. go make a custom outfit that you love so much and you wont mind the coin flip animation anymore

id use born flawless dash more but if you do it into a cutscene every time the camera changes you have to hear the powerâs sound effect go off
well the problem is this is a video game; when I use the motorcycle itâs because I want to get somewhere to do something specific, and I have like three other ways to do that more effectively. if I want to pose or do an animation or wear an outfit I like, the game has a million ways for me to do that because itâs the main focus of the game (in theory). so those are two discrete things and youâre either doing one or youâre doing the other. having the motorcycle just to have it because itâs cool and sometimes you want a cool motorcycle is fine, I donât regret pulling it, but itâs flavor masquerading as utility.
your priorities are wrong go make three outfits. stop applying cursed thinking
