The absolute best thing about Disgaea 5 for me was the bizarre “World Exploration” thing you can do. I had like, 80 units I was just using for this bizarre mechanic that I never fully understood. I don’t even remember the official name. But I loved sending them into space to do weird shit.

This is the pro strat for Four Kings, I played through the game multiple times rolling around dodging multiple attacks like some dummy before somebody clued me in that the only thing you should care about in that fight is pure DPS output and nothing else.

i also did actually play dark souls today lol. the whole series is very comfort game for me
I also played some soul calibur vi. i bought this game months ago knowing it had an absurdly full-featured character creator. what i did not know until i started playing is that it also has an absurdly full featured RPG mode where you roam across medieval Eurasia beating ass. It’s really fun and now i’m actually decent at Soul Calibur, which is a series ive always played really casually by just button mashing and spamming easy moves. It’s really stupid just how many moves every character has, i have been playing mostly Mitsurugi style and when i accidentally took a whole new stance with whole different face button moves my jaw dropped and i felt sort of panicked

Well, speaking of Dark Souls, I’ve been playing Darkwood (grain ring -hehe-) since the weekend and have remained on edge the entire time. It’s a game that is making me so tense I desperately want to look up slight bits of info on just how even a lamp works to quell some of that, but I know that would just kill the effect and I would then realize I’m not in the simulation and I’m just gaming.

I want so badly for randomizers to become a packaged mode in new games. Really wished that RE2make did it, and hope that RE3make respects the original’s random factors somehow. Randomizers are so cool!!!

My computer troubles solved I went back to Bloodstained and either playing it too much or more RAM have made me ignore how much I do not like controlling Miriam.
I got the bad end am pretty clueless what is my next step.

I restarted Yakuza Kiwami 2 because 3-5 are showing up at my house today. I am already like 5 hours in. I love it. So far it hasn’t fucked up Majima as much as Kiwami 1 did, but there is time.
Really hype to play 3 and have more Okinawa orphan times.
The biggest clue might be in the title of the prequel game? I don’t remember what the item text is, but there is something there too.
