It’s a full moon tomorrow. I will likely stand outside and look at it for a minute while thinking about how many people who are now dead have looked at the moon thinking about those who died before them.
One of my friends was talking to me once about something I can’t remember, and he interrupted himself mid-sentence to point and exclaim loudly “AND I FUCKING LOVE IT WHEN THE MOON IS OUT DURING THE DAY LIKE THAT”
I think it was a three quarter moon, so the shadow part was all fading off into the blue which seemed to make him extra excited
i still have the vague memory of the amazement i felt seeing day moon for the first time, so the feeling that it’s something really special just sticks with me
