I love Lars’ radio shows. My go-to radio is a mix of a few local college stations:
WUMB - mostly folk, bluegrass. there’s one radio show host who insists on giving 10 minute of very tangential background before every song
WHRB ‘after dark’ - pretty much anything, I started listening because while station-hopping I found what seemed like a regular hip hop song but on closer listening all the lyrics were about Sora and Mickey
WERS - mostly like art kid radio, on Saturdays they have a showtune block and on Sundays they have an a capella block, these always hit when we’re travelling and they’re always a rollercoaster of quality and choices
I also started listening to WFMU via their website last year, they have like a polka hour that I was very into
