I kept thinking “ah shit, the gunplay in Hitman is garbage, how is this gonna work,” somehow forgetting about my dear boys Kane and Lynch.
More on topic - has, uh, anyone ever used anything other than the silenced pistol or sniper rifle in these Hitman games? I’ll pick up a shotgun or machine gun if I, y’know, choke a dude out and stuff his body in a dirty clothes hamper, but otherwise I don’t think I’ve ever pulled the trigger on 'em.
I do kind of wish that they could invoke the feeling of playing contracts again, where you are “supposed” to shoot a bunch of enemy mooks by playing the game like other games, but the game keeps track of the number of bullets fired across all stages, and updates with your lowest total, so that as you learning the game you’re whittling away at that number like a golf score.
Not enough to want them to change modern Hitman, because they finally got the formula right, but I still miss that aspect of 3.
Playing through Hitman 2 on Steam right now. A bystander caught me swapping outfits and guns with a downed guard in an alley in Mumbai, so I shot him. I was all ready to save scum, when the lady voice chimed in with something like “Agent 47: That man you just killed is the Maelstrom.” Alright.
Does Hitman 3 also contain all the levels from 1 and 2?
Not having played the first two, if I play all the content of Hitman 3, will I have all of them, basically?
1 and 2 exist as dlc for 3 you can buy, or is unlocked for free if you own the games. so if you’re starting from nothing its better to just buy 3’s dlc than the separate games
yesterday I spent all day refreshing a website to get to play the game today I guess I get to trouble shoot this storefront thing cause it’s just sitting there not updating or doing anything
