there’s a greater delay with jumping, it generally feels less maneuverable/heavier but much faster.

Sadly I blow all my diamonds on crystals. I’ve put in enough hours I might as well ‘purchase’ but the store really doesn’t wanna make it simple.
i always save my diamonds for limited banners that move me, because the permanent banner is, well its permanent so i can sloowwlly do my pulls for that as the game gives me blue crystals

I fell off this game but my partner loves it and I’ve been watching her play now and then. This thing is incredible. It’s hard for me to put it into words, but it has a kind of vitality and spark that has been lacking in most mainstream games of the last decade or so. Something about it makes me think of the best of the 90’s… Maybe it’s because this game actually has a confident and distinctive aesthetic and voice. And you can also tell the creators are really putting it all on the line. I mean, the way Nikki turns her back to the camera, flips a coin, and strikes a cool pose as the coin explodes into a motorcycle that lands beside her… That moment alone contains more raw life force than most entire games.

I’d be curious to know toys they grew up with. So much of Nikki makes me think of how toyboxes as a kid are a real mix of older dolls, play things, toy blocks, crayons, doll house decorations and modern Barbie. Nikki feels like a hybrid doll sitting amongst a world of plushies
