Hacking games

Like games based on or that simulate ‘hacking’ - the actual practice, some imagined media version of it

There’s this sort of cozy-meta feel to the idea of hacking in a computer game- like, you are being responsible about information by taking human control of imaginary computer systems with security enforced by antagonistic power structures - inside a computer simulation.

Deus Ex was this and that is why it is ’ the only game I like '.

Maybe in 2030 that’s what hacking will actually look like?

In the Shivah, you’d look up stuff about people on the in game version of facebook and use that personal info to answer security questions to get into people’s accounts.
