ashita no joe for gba
Ymer told me I should post this here. I found this resource pack for Minecraft (Misa’s Realistic 64x64) that just looks like old shitty rpg. But why is this child Kanye West?
I like looking at babes and I still can’t believe how much people apparently like looking at babes.
Goofy Golf (Deluxe)
I have a physical copy of that. The dude made an FPS afterward which is ugly but I won’t say grotesque
this also looks very cool but i think it qualifies as Grotesque
Jake Clover games have apparently gotten way more detailed since the last time i looked at them
The Petz games and especially the still quite active hex modding community have an alternate-futuristic grotesquerie that haunts me a bit. The games as-is could qualify but there is something about the labor intensive process of generating new creatures from such an outdated interface testing the limits of possibility from a long defunct system to create new and worse creatures and steadfastly maintaining independent domains to host their creations that tips the scale. Many of the modders still host websites devoted to their work. Its like a time capsule but gross.
found these uploaded by a guy named Agent_Falcon93 on a wolfenstein 3d forum
this is the title screen of one of his mods
i thought that was only on pc :o

I played Lizard Lady vs. the Cats. It is maybe 10 minutes long and not… you know, good, but it looks like this:
That is a wonderfully ugly character design.
i feel like i’ve been ragging on mortal kombat 11 a lot. it got it in a sale for £4, and i’ve definitely got my money’s worth of fun out of it, but like, i can’t believe people count this series as being on the same level as proper fighting games. it feels weird to play, the move inputs are counter-intuitive nonsense, and it’s weirdly obsessed with showing how violent its fights are in ways that make no sense at all.
most relative to this thread is the way in which its general aesthetics feel like a window into a completely different videogame culture. like, you know when hot wheels or whatever would do a post-apocalyptic or dinosaur-themed race track playset to try and get the nerdy kids who didn’t like cars to buy their cars?
parts of mortal kombat 11 feel like a similar attempt to try and get arcade game fans to buy a western triple a live service loot-gathering mmo thing. like, look at these screens of demented nonsense:
robotech: the macross saga: hd edition
I was watching a friend playing 7th Guest VR, which is just an extremely impressive game from the perspective of them putting the FMVs of the original into a fully 3D environment.
This bit at 4:50 blew me away:
holy shit that’s great
Need this for Shivers
