Gravity Rush 2

I was thinking about how to fix this game honestly I have bad news. I’m pretty sure just giving Kat a gun would make it 100x better if a bit 2008 Xbox 360 AA

Kat doesn’t need a gun

she is a gun

This world could stand to be half the size but I apperciate it’s audaciousness.

The newspaper is the one almost good objective.

just wait man

just fucking wait for the Battle Nurse side mission

just fucking wait

Well, I mean, yeah, you wouldn’t literally give her a gun. You’d give her magic gravity powers that work mechcanically identical to guns

yes

the debris throwing

this is in the game

You got me dude, the game plays like a third person shooter how could I forget.

I played a bunch of it like a shooter when I could

I ain’t fucking around with their idea of combat

(in case you haven’t noticed, the general thread of my posting w/r/t GR2 is “there is a lot of things wrong with this game but I am a brain broken manchild and like it anyway”)

while I’m here, let me just go ahead and say that the Raven DLC side story is better than the main game

Honestly running around and picking shit up would be a fun mechanic if Kat broke it into little pieces to throw, like a bucket got you thirty splinters or whatever.

One thing I always thought was neat about Infamous was that, since you need electricity juice, it got me to look at the city environment in a different way. I have never been so atuned to electrical boxes in my life. Using regular everyday materials as projectiles would ad a degree of that sort of thing, I think

I love the treasure missions and that they will disappear in a month is a great sadness and if you have any interest in this game play it asap.

Thanks for the heads up. It’s really the best time to start playing as 1) hunt rewards are now acceptable (80 tokens per hunt) 2) the game gives a few missions each day, you can’t marathon it seven days before the servers go down.

I ‘m 5 hours in and love everything about it but combat. I’m 100% fine with no-combat missions like Catch All Geese. I really like the hair tech on Kat too

BTW PSN plus isn’t required for the online content

the treasure hunts are the only good* thing about the online functionality

no one shares photos

competing in events against ghosts is silly

Dusty Tokens were a terrible idea and I’m thankful I have everything unlocked

*holy shit if you give me a treasure hunt in the shanty town at the bottom of Not Brazil I will get you prosecuted for war crimes

@contentdeleted does your sony plastation entertainment system have my sick photo ops on it still cause you should post em if it does. I didnt redo my sick trick after a blackout for nothin

It probably does I can check when I get home.
I should probably finally play this game before online is dead

Bov is right the Raven chapter makes no sense without the first/main game and yet had the best design and clearest image of what to do. Almost screaming we could have made the game this tight all around.

And then they didn’t! The final chapter in the main game is some JRPG nonsense before fighting a giant boss just like you fight all the other giant monsters. Swing wildly.

You also weren’t kidding about it going Akira. Good lord.

I am sure the side quests might flesh out the characters a bit more but I didn’t get any side quests for the leather bound girlfriends and I got like 5 for child and alcoholic father I hate. I might do more side stuff just because it is a pretty pleasant game to do something while trying a poppunk album.

uh

that’s not the end of the main game

you still got a few more hours of game left there

Oh i got the real end I was just vague as you were!

Edit:note I said JRPG Nonsense.

the Akira and JRPG nonsense is all loaded at the end of the Hekseville chapter, whereas the real end at least tries to explain itself because they fucking knew they weren’t getting a third game
