now i’m in italian lol
the gift that keeps on giving
outward is on sale on humble and kenshi is on (rare?) sale on steam
tempted to buy them both, some morrowindcore is very tempting
outward is also on sale on psn (uk)
I waltzed into the Epic Store and claimed GTA V with absolutely no trouble whatsoever
So into outward becoming a thing here.
Outward at $16 on Epic Store - $10 ‘everyone gets one’ sale coupon = Outward at $6 on Epic store
$18 here in the US, too. Ugh. I have played a total of 1 hour of my last RPG (Divinity OS 2), but I want this.
the promise of morrowind + botw (+ a little souls i guess) is hard to resist
Should I buy Control on Epic game store due to it being on sale plus a coupon or should I wait for it to go on Steam in August?
is the consensus on outward that it should really be played solo or can i play it co-op
the non-census, but now I wanna try it.
I think when @Tulpa was discussing it earlier someone mentioned that playing in coop means no death events which Tulpa certainly thinks are central to the experience
so from what i understand, outward co-op only saves on the host’s end. does this mean that if you are player 2 you start with a new character every time you join a new session (with the same host) or does their save at least preserve your character, inventory, etc?
It preserves the character’s skills and inventory.
I didn’t try to play Outward single-player yet and can’t speak to it, but playing it coop felt kind of entertaining but hollow. It’s just the same little slapstick over and over of one player hitting enemies from behind and finding space to revive the other player when one dies. It’s fun for a few hours, but we weren’t inclined to start another play session after dropping off for the night on the first one.
kinda sounds like solo is the way to go, which is fine since that’s what i was planning on anyway
If you’re willing to have a Uplay account/launcher installed, the Museum modes of the last two AssCreed games are available for free
There’s nothing wrong with the Epic game store of Control and I see no reason why it would be cheaper right away on Steam, so I guess get it now if you feel like playing it? I can’t think of anything to gain by deferring gratification here
