i missed the boat on out of this world so flashback’s rotoscoping was mind-blowing to me at the time. it basically is out of this world if it was more of an actual videogame. out of this world/blackthorne/blade runner soup. i loved it but it’s hard to revisit for a full playthrough.
We visited the apartment of my dad’s coworker/subordinate for some reason I cannot remember and her boyfriend had a SNES with Flashback (I only had a NES at the time) and I was so rapt that when my parents tried to pull the “we’re leaving now” trick they actually got in their car and drove away and I sat playing the game without moving an inch
A collection of 30 old Gameloft titles never released on modern phones is now free! Pretty cool they saved their own past with this. So many lost mobile games.
