I think the only way forward for the Doom franchise is to make a big budget attempt at an Earth Defense Force/Doom hybrid for Series X
nu-Doom: Plutonian Experiment
God damn it this is the greatest fucking idea
Starting next Thursday the epic games store is giving away three games: Anodyne 2, A Short Hike, and Mutazione. All three of them look interesting so hey, heads up.
anodyne 2 and mutazione are both quite good!
That new Terminator game is $16 for psplus kids ($28 for everyone else) until the 18th. Iâm doing it. Iâm going to play this thing.
Yeah donât sleep on Anodyne 2, it was my favorite game last year. Itâs one of my favorite games ever now.
That game sounds wild. Iâm kinda interested in playing it; excerpt from the Eurogamer review:

Damn this is an extremely solid offering
The current game is Offworld Trading Company which I believe @Felix tried to get us all to play at the last meetup
i think i have a sb3 picture of like five people playing it on laptops and everyone looks miserable except felix who is grinning and fist-pumping
FWIW I liked the game but was overstimulated from folks on the couches watching like Leeroy Jenkins and the lady who bakes dry pasta
ew who watched leroy jenkins ew that didnt actually happen did it
There was some kind of WoW video going on, I was trying to tune it out so I could mine unobtainium
okay god i was about to be so disappointed

Fanatical âmake you own bundleâ lets you pick up Snake Pass (and two other random games) for $2.99.
I somehow missed all of that WoW Offworld Trader stuff.
My memoryâs not the greatest, but Iâm pretty sure Cuba was playing some kind of Garryâs Mod videos prior to the cooking diversion. There might have been one WoW pvp compilation that slipped into the mix? Did that actually happen in Branson?
damn I missed out on Offworld Trading Company? I wouldâve played that at the meetup. Itâs a good game and I think this is that once in a blue moon where Felixâs and my tastes sync up
