TABS is an early access game and its not much of a structured game yet. However, the engine and physics and all of that are pretty much done. And they have a bunch of “missions” setup as standoffs and its a bunch of fun to throw the various units at eachother. There are also some “free” modes where you can setup your own missions like that. And there’s a system to upload them for others to try. Some of the maps have hidden things to find, via free view camera controls. which can get you new unit types. Its got just the right amount of goof and physics (wobbly legs, googly eyes, archers who’s arrows cause you you to float away by balloons), that I have sunk a healthy chunk of time into it.
Its also on Xbox Game Pass for PC since a couple of days ago

comparable I’m afraid
I just played the first 15 or 20 minutes. Movement feels good and has nice quality of life things like being able to hold down + jump to just fall through multiple platforms without stopping. Attacking feels good as well and there’s a nice feeling ground pound move from the start. Sounds effects are good too.
It runs poorly on my computer though. As the area to explore got bigger I had to drop the resolution from 1280x720 to 800x600 and even then it was still chunky. But I’m intrigued now and will probably drop the $20 to play it on Xbox.
I didn’t play Jotun so I can’t compare it.

I have had…significant mechanical concerns about Sundered since the first time I ever saw it in motion, but god at times it looks goddamn gorgeous and I’m glad I can finally have a chance to give it a shot even if the result is me getting annoyed with it within fifteen minutes.
