This is a bit of a dicey recommendation given B&H’s supra-Amazon yet sub-optimal labor practices and the fact that this filters money through an especially predatory credit company, but B&H has a new credit card (named “Payboo”; lol) that works only in their store that immediately refunds the taxes charged on a purchase. I used it successfully last month while getting a new laptop and a Vive. IDK, I’m not crazy about it, but it worked. Just ensure you immediately pay off the balance.
(For those excited about Zen 2, you can do most/all of your build/upgrade on B&H with prices that are equal to Newegg.)
Toonstruck is a fine little adventure game. It has an absurdly large budget, some really good animation, and as you play it, Christopher Lloyd sounds increasingly drunk until suddenly he stops sounding drunk and starts sound hung-over.
If you are in Canada, hard copies of Titanfall 2 have started showing up in Dollarama dollar stores (I’ve only seen confirmation of Xbox One for now, but check your local one in case there’s PS4)
PS4 controllers officially come in translucent now (“crystal” is the color they call it) and it’s on sale for a couple more days for $40. So if your favorite color is “clear” then check that out. I ordered one to have a third for multiplayer games with the nephews and also because my black and white camo controller is starting to wear out in the left stick a little. I’m kind of hype actually.
Yeah the clear ones were GameStop exclusive for a long time. I got mine there because the first PS1 controller I ever got was a clear one, so I wanted to keep it going.
